"Just Figures" Art Crawl in The Woodlands, April 3-5, 2009

The first annual "Just Figures" Art Crawl will be held on April 3-5, 2009 in the Woodlands, Texas. With three participating galleries, approximately 200 works from 15 of the area's most accomplished artists will reintroduce the human form to the local art scene.

Five of the 15 "Just Figures" artists are members of the Six Figures art group: Lesley Humphrey, Liz Hill, Dawn McKelvy, and Fred Hulser.

The event will center around Studio in the Woods, located at 26002  Budde Road just a mile south of The Woodlands Mall. With works  ranging in size from less than one foot to bigger-than-lifesize, participating artists celebrate the amazing, meaningful, and above all, respectable, human figure as a time-honored subject in visual arts. Admission is free, and minors will be admitted accompanied by parent or guardian.
